Printer Cartridge Recycling

Thank you for choosing to recycle your empty inkjet cartridges with AB Cartridges Ltd.

We only collect and recycle Once Used, Unmodified Original Manufacturers Empty Ink Cartridges. We DO NOT collect and Recycle empty Laser cartridges, Tonner Bottles, Ribbons, Fuser Units or any other part of a printer or printing consumerbale.

Currently, between 20% and 30% of all printer cartridges sold world wide will be recycled. With your help, in 10 years time this figure could be increased to 45%.

1. Slightly damaged or previously remanufactured cartridges may still be useful to us, although we reserve the right to offer a reduced/zero payment for them.
2. We will not be responsible for any cartridges broken or lost in transit due to insufficient packaging or labelling.
3. A B Cartridges Ltd reserve the right (at our discretion) to charge for disposal of any items sent to us that are not listed below or are not printer cartridges. The following is a brief list of items this notice applies to. Laser Printer Cartridges, Laser Toner Cartridges, Epson Inkjet Cartridges, Old/used Printer Ribbons, Parts of printers or computers, plastic toner bottles, toner transfer units, general waste.
4. WE CANNOT ACCEPT EMPTY EPSON INKJET CARTRIDGES FOR RECYCLING.

Payment Terms

1. A.B Cartridges Ltd will pay the amount indicated on the list below for each Inkjet printer cartridge. These Prices are for Once Used Original Equipment/Printer Manufacturers Cartridges Only. We reserve thr right to refuse to pay for loads of 20 cartridges plus of a single type if current demand for the cartridge is insufficient. Please call us first if you have a large amount of a single cartridge type.
2. Prices are subject to change without notice. This document is reviewed regularly. Please phone 01522-683460 or e-mail (sales@abcartridges.co.uk) for the most current version. The price paid, is the prevailing price on the day we receive your cartridges unless prior arrangements have been made.
3. Payment for cartridges will be made by cheque/Bacs payment, to the account of your choice in 20 working days of receipt of your empty inkjet cartridges.
4. We do not issue cheques/make bank payments for amounts under £20.00 due to the rising cost of processing cheques. If the value of the empty cartridges we receive from you is less than £20.00 we will keep the record of the value of empty inkjet cartridges received and add it to the amount of the next load we receive. Once a total of £20.00 has been amassed a cheque/Bacs payment will be issued. This amount will include any refund of postage charges due.
5. Please ensure that you include a letter/note in with all your empty printer cartirdges to enable us to identify them, failiure to do so can result in non/delayed payment if we cannot identify who the cartridges we have received are from.

Transport Details

1. Inkjet cartridges can be placed in a plastic bags (or similar) to prevent damage to the print head, or unwelcome ink seepage from the printhead.
2. Once you have collected your empty inkjet cartridges together, please pack them in a suitable box using old newspaper or waste paper shreddings, inside the box to protect the cartridges from damage in transit. Please remember that we can only pay for undamaged inkjet cartridges so packageing is important.
3. Once your cartridges are packed up in a parcel, please include in each parcel a note containg the following information.

• Your Name
• Your Address and Postcode
• Your Telephone Number
• Your email address if you have one

And Then Send Them to the Address Below using either Parcel Force or Royal Mails cheapest rate for the size of parcel you have. The cost of postage will be refunded in full on top of the value of the empty inkjet cartridges you send us. If you choose to use any other method of transport to deliver your empty cartridges to us, at what ever cost, you will be refunded at the relevent (weight and size rate) for either parcel force or royal mail. Which ever is cheapest. Any other transport cost incured will be borne by the parcel sender.
