Make sure you have details to hand, or handbag in this case!

A good tip this to save both temper and time, I know it sounds tedious and obvious but it works.

Next time you go to buy some printer cartridges make sure you have your exact printer model with you. A lady customer came in the other day to buy some cartridges and was not sure which printer model she had. So after looking on her account we surmised which of her 2 printers the cartridges were for. She paid for her printer cartridges, got a free bar of chocolate (which we were giving away as a promotion) and drove off, to Manchester.

I got a phone call the next day "they are not correct printer cartridges". The lady had purchased cartridges for her daughter's printer and not her own, a very similar model.

The end result was my customer appeared a couple of days later with some well travelled printer cartridges and we sent her daughter the correct printer cartridges to Manchester in the post. If only I had written the printer model down! She said (men do this too I might add).

So there is now a lady driving around Lincolnshire with a slip of paper in her purse, written upon which are two models of printer. One labelled DAUGHTER and one labelled MINE.

Powerful things slips of paper when it comes to saving time and temper, a good case of the pen is mightier than the printer cartridge!
